This game used to be so good. Now it’s over filled with tons of junk, overstimulating stuff to keep your brain addicted, AND the ads!!! Never ending ads!!! I lost at answering a question because an ad popped up in the middle of it!!! What the heck is that?!?!? I don’t mind some but it’s more ads than game!
★★☆☆☆Too Many Ads and Gimmicks
It pains me to write this because I used to absolutely love this game when I was in middle and high school. However, upon returning to it five years later, the entire app is riddled with ads between matches and even during actual trivia questions (pop ups–not videos–thankfully). There are also far too many gimmicks now that incentivize you to watch ads by offering power-ups. That may be some people’s MO and I get that, but it can become bothersome to me. For these reasons, I have to give it a 2/

I redownloaded this app because I used to play it as a kid, so I wanted to see how I’d compare now that I’m older. I was so sad to find the generative AI videos in the practice section. Not only is is disappointing because it’s AI, but they were also just really unsettling. Not to mention the sheer amount of ads at every turn and just how overstimulating this app has become. There are amount a hundred popups at every turn, always wanting to hook your attention back in. I could feel my brain mel
