User Reviews and Ratings
★★☆☆☆ Sorta works sometimes
App works partially and intermittently. In general, it is slow, buggy, and unreliable.
★★☆☆☆ Fix your app!!
Having the nerve to charge people for a poorly designed and polished app should have it all immediately pulled from the all app stores. Very disappointing especially after having charged $80.
★★★★☆ Good ecosystem but needs powerful components for top performance
As another reviewer has remarked if your Raspberry Pi is old or if your phone is old, there will be a lag. But overall. The app and the software it works with function remarkably well, considering how little it costs to put together a system that will stream lossless music and allow one to repurpose an ancient stereo and speakers for the digital age. It should be noted that Volumio uses Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth, ensuring every bit and byte passes from your file to your ears.
★★☆☆☆ Buggy - Don’t buy
This platform is far too buggy and user-unfriendly to invest in. I’m running a Raspberry Pi and this app. It only reads a portion of the music on my DLNA (Plex) server. All of my music is in fully compatible formats. The app is very buggy itself with illogical navigation.
★★★★☆ Mostly works

I love this app for streaming lossless subscription service. I have only used related features, I don’t have a large collection of music on hard drives, so do not have any experience with that.
It does freeze and is sometimes really slow, but the features are great and - i often share a stream to multiple pi- sourced stereos around my house for background music, which is a great feature. It sometimes needs a reboot to get the pi’s to share, so I’m hoping there are improvements in the pipeline
