User Reviews and Ratings
★★★★☆Works well but missing features
There’s weird little things that are missing from the app, like setting the temperature for climate control, making the lights blink, and other basic things that are in other manufacturers apps.
But for what its supposed to do it’s stable.
★★★☆☆XC40 units adjustments
On a trip into the US from Canada I changed units from metric to US (miles mpg F deg). On return to Can when units changed back to metric all fine in the car but units in the app do not go back to metric.
★★★☆☆No longer know cars current location
Every update seems to break something. 5.40.0 no longer knows cars current location. Always says it is at home. Journal tracks trips correctly, but when car is stopped always shows car at home location.
★★☆☆☆App fails to provide basic correct information
Fails to recognize the doors are locked. So we make lots of trips back and forth to the car to make sure the doors are locked. Of course, they are, but the app continues to notify us they are unlocked. Charge status of car also not reported correctly.
Missing my dumb car and regretting our choice to buy a Volvo. I could call Volvo support again and provide them with free quality control. I don’t work for them so I won’t.
★★★☆☆Issues with driving journal 5.35.0
The driving journal on the newest version 5.35.0, when you export the journal as an excel sheet, it says the file has an error and it can’t be opened. Please fix this. We kept track of our trips and this is not ideal having to save them in another format because the excel/xlsx version isn’t saving right. We have a 2022 XC90 T8 and are using an iPhone 15 pro max with iOS 17.3. Please consider allowing people to revert to a previous version of the app, how we use to be able to do.
