If your making music to share believe me when I say nobody is waiting in line to watch you fiddle around with touch screen knobs and such. Get this and take your performance videos to another level. VS paired with many inexpensive midi controllers such as the MiniLab3 is a live visual showcase waiting to happen. I’m aware that they weren’t using Metal in the past because rebuilding shaders for Metal wasn’t worth the effort as it would be zero use to their large Windows based installs. I’m hoping that Apple’s new porting options provides them a way to get super performance shaders on the iPad easily.
