★★☆☆☆Terrible functionality
I had consistent issues connecting the Velib pass to my Apple Wallet; the bikes would not accept my account number and lock code as an alternate way of checking them out; and once a pass was expired the app would not let me buy a new one. This seems like a terrific system if the software would work properly.

This app could use a little streamlining but it works and the bike network in Paris is amazing.

We visited Paris for three days and rode Velib bikes every single day. We covered almost 100 km during our trip and it cost two of us a total of €26. Much cheaper than the 20 metro or bus passes and we got a little exercise in the process.
Watch a YouTube video demonstrating how to best use the system. There are some pitfalls, but they are easily avoidable.
I wish they offered T-shirts or Cycling jerseys. I’d buy one and wear it like the nerd I am!
