★★☆☆☆More annoying than before!
The forced 15 second ad before you could see if a tornado was about to hit your house was irritating, but now the ads are screen takeovers with forced audio. Guess I can no longer check the app while listening to music or riding the bus! Deleting.

★★☆☆☆Ads are destroying it
Used to love this app, but they’ve continued to add more and more advertisements which have made trying to get a quick glance at the daily forecast really annoying. It’s also made the app heavier than it needs to be causing it to take longer to load.
★★☆☆☆Slow
The precipitation radar overlay is sometimes very slow to load on the map, like 30 seconds or more, which makes it look like it isn’t raining even when it is. There is nothing to indicate that the radar is still loading—it just looks like a clear day.
Thankfully there is no longer a full-screen ad that displays for three seconds before the app loads. I hope WGN got rid of this on purpose and they aren’t just between advertisers right now. Made me never want to do business with Feldco!
