My last rating for the app was 1 star. That was July 2019. There have been several updates to the WTVA weather app during that time should have made me increase the rating. My apologies for the 1 star hanging around for so long.
It is once again a weather app and a reliable one at that. The ads don’t bog the radar or immediate notifications like they used to.

My son lives in Starkville and I use it quite often, especially here lately to check on the severe weather. Gives this Momma a little peace of mind and if I have to give him a heads up. Have actually talked with him on the phone through a night of tornados watching this App 3-1/2 hrs away because he had no power and no signal. Great Job!

Is there a subscription to get around the annoying flashing ads? Almost feels spammy to use. Major annoyance. :/
★★☆☆☆Intrusive full screen pop-up ads with volume blasting
I used this app for 4-5 years but was disappointed with the low quality ads. The ads grew progressively worse with the last straw being a full screen animation with obnoxious blaring volume.
