Reviews on Yam Air for iOS
★★★★★Solved all the issues of Sidecar
If you haven’t already tried Sidecar, give it a try before buying this app since it’s free functionality built into may Macs/iPads. However, if you’re like me and experiencing constant freezing with Sidecar, Yam is god-sent. It works flawlessly and adds touchscreen functionality (beautiful). I also considered Duet, but ultimately went with Yam since it’s a one-time fee versus subscription. So pleased!!
★★★★★Great!!!
I love it!!! It is really easy to use, and helps me with my school work. I didn’t have to buy a monitor since I found this, and used my drawing tablet. It is a little laggy, but that’s because this is the cheaper air version which is GOING to be laggy, and this one really does a good job despite that. If you really need one without lag of any kind then just spend the extra 3 bucks on the wired version and it’ll be perfect for you.
★★★★☆Works
Using it on my old Mac Mini/Mojave (2010) delivers a poor performance with quite some lag … Using it on my MacBookpro (2016) / Big Sur works fine and without any delay or lag. As you can use your fingers on the iPad to move stuff, guess a virtual keyboard would be nice?
