How can I do to have running the compass to record the direction of planes and lines?

I bought this app for 5.99€ and it works fine on new devices like iPhone 6s but it is completely unusable with iPad 3!
NO ONE advice about work problems with old devices!!!

★★★☆☆Excellent but needs improvements
The app works very well on iPhones >6; I tested on iPhone6, 6s, X and 13Pro with very consistent measurements with different devices and results easy to share via email, Bluetooth etc.
However, it doesn’t give reliable measurements with iPad Mini 5. So I suggest it shouldn’t be used on iPads. After the last iOS upgrade (16.5), the app crashes when the user trying to attach a picture to a measurement, and that’s an important limitation.
