my first impression is that this is the best fm-synth implementation at the moment. And the UI is very nice and easy to handle. I didnt test the sysex part for now - but if it works as decribed, it will be a complete DX7 editor too ! Only thing i miss at the moment is support for the additional DX7ii parameters.

This app is Dream for me. Finally i can make preset for my DX7 preenfm TX802 on the fly. I really looking forward to my next outdoor trip with my favorite Synthese. I use dexed too and everything what I need or know from this vst is in this app. The GUI is very nice. One wish to the developer please make an same app for the TX81z <3. ahh and it's sounds very nice. Many thanks to the developer

The app is very nice, but quite buggy. I use it as AU plugin in Cubasis and the sound just disappears.

With this app I can send dx7 files to my volca fm and with the modded firmware even directly change the parameters on the volca with the most beautiful interface imaginable. Creating fm patches never made this much fun.

This App makes FM synthesis a real fun. With this app, it’s easy to have an idea and try to build the sound you think about. I still have issue to re-import the saved file into dexed, so I could export it to my Volca FM. But for now it is okay because I use the app to search for a new patch and later I manually rebuild the patch on the Volca, which makes me anyway learning even more the machine. Mehr als nur ein DX7. Microtuning ist jetzt auch möglich. Für mich ist es sogar mehr als eine Grey Matter Version, da ich auch solch einen besitze. Nur sehr wenige Sounds klingen anders, was KQ Dixie als seine Version bezeichnen kann. Es klingt nämlich gut, halt minimal anders. Sonst zu 99,9% mit meinen DX7IIFD E! Sounds identisch. Liest Sysex Daten und über Midi Latenzfrei zu spielen. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen. Sounds zu editieren ist super einfach. Spart viel Zeit, gegenüber dem DX7. Erf

Doesn’t look very pretty, BUT it‘s a POWERFUL synth and does A LOT ❤️ 100% recommended 🙏
