Midi Response with wx11 is lame

I thought the trusty Yamaha WX11 and the Swam App on iPad would be a perfect Match. But the Swam App is pretty unresponsive, it doesnt work well. With my Korg Apps like Polysix and Mono/Poly it works much better. I am using a CME Master Bluetooth Midi which generaly works fine. I am no Midi Pundit, more the plug and play type. But to me it seems the Swam App is more made for Keyboarders. The layout and controls are well made.
