Best 2/4€ I spent on an app on iOS and MacOS.

… im vergleich mit adguard verliert wipr. an manchen stellen sind leere flächen auf den websites, wo eigentlich die werbung wäre. die cookie-meldungen werden leider auch nicht so gut wie bei adguard geblockt. besonders bei google muss man ständig manuell bestätigen.

I’m using it without the extra integration and I’m completely happy with how well it performs using just the Content blocker extension API.

A wise man once said about his product - “It just works”. The same applies here. No hassles, no need to wrangle around in bad UI. It simply works. I have not seen an ad that has slipped through.

I have tried numerous Adblockers on both iOS and MacOS and can confidently say that wipr is by far the best experience for me. It’s extremely lightweight and fast and I have yet to see an ad. Big plus: I’ve not encountered any blank spots on web pages and it DOES NOT have a subscription model. To the developer: please stick to your onetime purchase business model and I’ll gladly support wipr 2 when it’s out.

Exactly what i looked for - no monthly payments!

Werbung wird auf SPON ZON etc. unverändert weiterhin angezeigt. Ist eine ziemliche Enttäuschung.

▪️ Question to the developer: should version 1 be uninstalled before installing version 2? ▪️Vorher: Endlich kein DSGVO Cookie Quatsch mehr. Werbung wird auch geblockt. Läuft bei mir auch auf dem Mac. Bin bis jetzt zufrieden :)

Einfach Perfekt - Nutzt die native Blocker- Engine, deshalb super schnell, Ressourcen schonend und sicher. Auch für macOS. Simpel - einmal installieren, nie wieder drum kümmern!

Super Adblocker ohne Einbußen bei Batterie oder Performance. Einfach zu aktivieren und funktioniert anschließend tadellos ohne Probleme. Einzig die Kosmetische Filterung klappt in Safari nicht immer so gut wie bei anderen Blockern.

Der einzige Werbeblocker, der den Akku nicht leer saugt und Safari verlangsamt.

It works sometimes but when YouTube is blocking ad blockers, this doesn’t update quick enough to compensate
