AudioKit Hey Metronome

Really simple to use app that is a delight to play with. Under the hood it has a ton of advanced options more accomplished musicians will appreciate. Play around to discover all the ways you can use it during your practice sessions.

I'm old guy in my sixites starting back playing guitar and learning keys. This app is great for helping me re-develop my sense of rhythm. Cool percussion sounds too. Love Audiokit stuff.

...and voice recognition is sometimes helpful. Visual effects on beats could be briefer for more accurate cuing.

I really enjoy the features of Hey Metronom. My only complaint is that after installing and running it, my Hey Siri recognition stopped working. When I went into settings and toggled Siri voice activation off and back on, Siri started working again, but Hey Metronome stopped working. I'm on iPhone XR with IOS 13.4.1.

Is there not a way to say Hey Metronome, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4? (And then have the app reply back “ok, ive set the tempo to 128.5 bpm, would you like me to count off and begin?”) The way this works, kinda like google home/alexa, which is neat, if I already know the tempo, but if I want to tap a tempo I still have to tap with my finger. I never know the tempo, its in my head, I dont read sheet music or know anything about classical music tempo names, but I would love to not have to tap ever again.
