17 Positive User Reviews for AudioKit Hey Metronome
2 Pink Floyd songs…..plus many other greats.
This is excited for the entire music app community. I’ve been ripping on the beat machine so much then this app was so great I was inspired to pick up my guitar 🎸 again
Go team Go, you people are the coolest dev team. Thanks. It’s a great drum machine with the best standards built in. I think the metronome is probably cool to I just haven’t tried it. This beat machine got me hooked.
iOS 18 not supported
Great app for practicing with my Ocarina, however I don’t think it supports iOS 18. Would it be possible if the AudioKit team could look into this, please.🙏🏾
Thanks for all your work! 👍🏾
Whoa.
I feel awful having only spent $0.99 on this. The sheer amount of customization makes it really easy to get a cool rhythm going. The ideas can get out of my head way faster now!
Love the app, but on IOS 18…
Update (Dec.6) : silly me. Uninstalled, reinstalled fixed it. Still the best in the biz. Thanks Audiokit.
This is my go to metronome. I use it with piano practice, but when I go to open the app after IOS 18, it opens then closes right away. Now I’m using the Ableton Note built in metronome as a back up. Please fix! (I’ll write to Apple too after I finish trying ALL my Auv3 and audio apps). Thanks for any support.
Very good, could use some improvements
It is a good metronome, and I appreciate the simple transaction. As a pro musician using this for practice, my wishes are: 1) remember my tempo and settings when I close the app. 2) metronome stops playing whenever I foreground the app - whyyy? 3) give an option for a simple backbeat (snare only) or one-click metronome without all the fancy drum patterns.
Fun and Fully Featured
Really simple to use app that is a delight to play with. Under the hood it has a ton of advanced options more accomplished musicians will appreciate. Play around to discover all the ways you can use it during your practice sessions.
Helps a lot keeping the beat
I'm old guy in my sixites starting back playing guitar and learning keys. This app is great for helping me re-develop my sense of rhythm. Cool percussion sounds too. Love Audiokit stuff.
Good for for the basic function
...and voice recognition is sometimes helpful. Visual effects on beats could be briefer for more accurate cuing.
Fighting with Siri
I really enjoy the features of Hey Metronom. My only complaint is that after installing and running it, my Hey Siri recognition stopped working. When I went into settings and toggled Siri voice activation off and back on, Siri started working again, but Hey Metronome stopped working.
I'm on iPhone XR with IOS 13.4.1.
Voice recognition but no counting off?
Is there not a way to say Hey Metronome, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4?
(And then have the app reply back “ok, ive set the tempo to 128.5 bpm, would you like me to count off and begin?”)
The way this works, kinda like google home/alexa, which is neat, if I already know the tempo, but if I want to tap a tempo I still have to tap with my finger. I never know the tempo, its in my head, I dont read sheet music or know anything about classical music tempo names, but I would love to not have to tap ever again.
🗣Awesomeness!!!
Great app that has lots of features. Good sounds to pick from. Love the sound choices!
Great metronome with voice activation!
Love it...I can set the tempo and change it with voice activation hands free!
Thank you
I would like to thank you for making a great synth! And still being great!
Great app!
I decided to try this app, even though there are other metronome apps that I’m satisfied with. I am really impressed! It’s easy to use, the voice control is very useful, plus there are lots of sounds that you can choose from, like drum beats, instead of being limited to a click-click sound.
Incredible Practice Tool
What a fun way to take the drudgery out of metronome practice! My thanks to the people who worked to make such a stellar app.
a convenient metronome
I love this because it is so simple to get it to do what you want without stopping playing.
Leegondese
Great metronome. It definitely clicks on time.. I don’t know what else to say
