This review is solely based on the graphics which are stunning and resemble Machinarium my favorite game ever. So far, this is the messiest, illogical and chaotic adventure puzzle game I’ve ever played. What a lack of sense, what a disconnection between the graphics and the storyline. Could have been a fantastic game.
★★☆☆☆Could’ve been great….but
Avolteah is a beautiful, interesting little game that is ruined by a player that moves like a snail, puzzles that are timed such that an Olympian couldn’t finish them before, guess what? The physics need to be refined. We wound up accidentally deleting all our progress because the instructions for how to save games locally or to the cloud don’t make sense at all and I was unwilling to start all over again. There is potential here but it wound up being frustrating. Our 7 year old loved the cha
