After the recent update you need to allow full access when you open Awesome Cal. If you choose “Add Events Only” your calendar will appear empty of all events. You can change this in the settings on your phone if you chose the wrong one like I did.

I love being able to see a detailed color coded view of my day, week, and month. I started using this for college years ago, and have used it for everything since.
I love being able to actually see what’s going on rather than having to click each day and expand all the events. I organize everything in here and will be devastated if it ever goes away.
