Though I wish people would stop calling any program that sorts a large database AI …
To try to fool the program, I sent several separate songs by our local fantastically musical mocking bird.
No matter what bird the MB was imitating, the program was not “fooled”, probably because a different beak/head/vocal apparatus of the bird, run through a Fast Fourier Transform presented a different frequency pattern I couldn’t distinguish blindly.

I’ve used this great app for years, but now, after update, I try to have a bird song identified, the app just shuts down… iPhone 15 pro max running iOS 18.3.1. Still happens after phone reboot. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I really love this app but was bummed to discovery today that it now crashes when I attempt to analyze a recording. I have an iPhone 16 Pro and am on iOS 18.3.1. I really hope this is temporary and/or it can be fixed, because I really appreciate and enjoy using this app!
