I’ve been playing this franchise for a while. GBA, Steam, PS2 and now just added the collection to my phone. It’s improved over the originals, but really guys, I can use controllers for every single platform out there these games are available on, and I can’t use my BackBone on these games? I would not have spent my money buying console games for the phone if I knew I wouldn’t even be able to use a backbone with it. HUGE disappointment. Not the game. I love all the Broken Sword games. I wish for a reforged for this one I don’t like that the faces hide part of the screen.
★★★☆☆Not as good as the first but decent
I bought the bundle. First was good. This 2nd one is just okay so far. The puzzles are less intuitive and I find myself needing the hints a lot more. Some of the controls to exit a location are a bit janky. You really have to find the exact spot to tap for it to trigger the character leaving the area. I wish they just had a button for the map that grays out when they don’t want you hopping around. Still, I’ll stick it out and update the review if it picks up. Hopefully the next game is better.
