BS2

I’ve been playing this franchise for a while. GBA, Steam, PS2 and now just added the collection to my phone. It’s improved over the originals, but really guys, I can use controllers for every single platform out there these games are available on, and I can’t use my BackBone on these games? I would not have spent my money buying console games for the phone if I knew I wouldn’t even be able to use a backbone with it. HUGE disappointment. Not the game. Just the developers choice of not allowing a

I love it

I love all the Broken Sword games. I wish for a reforged for this one I don’t like that the faces hide part of the screen.

Not as good as the first but decent

I bought the bundle. First was good. This 2nd one is just okay so far. The puzzles are less intuitive and I find myself needing the hints a lot more. Some of the controls to exit a location are a bit janky. You really have to find the exact spot to tap for it to trigger the character leaving the area. I wish they just had a button for the map that grays out when they don’t want you hopping around. Still, I’ll stick it out and update the review if it picks up. Hopefully the next game is better.

Great game

Awesome series

The Broken Sword series is great, and makes for a perfect game on the iPad. Bring them all to the App Store please!

Fun but

Very much fun to play but IOS controls are a bit fussy and the characters move a bit slowly.

Fantastic adventure game

Not quite as good as monkey island but a terrific game nonetheless! Highly recommend!

Thanks, Developer!

Glad you kept this updated for the system that I’m on! 4 stars until I finish. The controls are finicky. I had to use a hint in the first problem because it was pretty random. The next few challenges have been fun to solve. They are a challenge compared to other point and click adventures. Enjoying it!

No sound

iPad Pro 10.5 there is no sound

Fun...but

Characters are a bit slow moving, I like the hint set up.

Amazing But Not Full Screen

This is one of the best Point and Click adventure series’ out there. I recommend all three. However, this game’s gameplay isn’t actually full screen on my iPhone X like the screenshots in the App Store show. So, I wonder why those screenshots are there.

Good but

Good puzzles so far, a little ways into the game. Seems just as misogynistic and homophobic as the first, and hopefully for the later games just a product of its times.

Cut scenes do not display properly

This would be a solid five star game if it weren't for the fact that all of the cut scenes play in a tiny rectangle at the top of my screen, while the rest of the screen is black. Still a great game, despite that minor disappointment. Maybe support has a workaround for me? 🤔

Nostalgia

This game took me back to my PS1 days. It was such a beautiful and amazing game! I’m delighted to find it on the App Store.

Superb

Perfect amount of difficulty, great adventure, super fun!!!

Nostalgia is real with this game!

I remember being a kid and playing this on my ps1. Could there be controller support for it though? I bought a backbone for my iPhone and would love to be able to use it with this game!

No Full Screen

The game not being full screen is driving me insane. 😭 I hate it.

Fussy controls

I am wasting too much time trying to find the exact touch point to make a character perform an action. I’m ready to abandon the game and I’m 10 minutes in.
