Car Camera DVR. PRO

I have had several of the free dash cam apps. Thought I would purchase one. This is great app except I can’t run other audible apps in the background. All other apps I could activate the dash cam and then minimize, open a music app and get it operating, minimize the music app and go back to the dash cam. The dash cam would record and I could listen to music at the same time. Same goes with Maps. I would like to hear directions while the dash app is running. I have the audio record off so I’m a b

I used to like this app but as others have also mentioned it no longer saves settings. Each time I have to set up metric vs English and the segment lengths etc. it’s a pain and I won’t be using this until they fixe it. I’ve used the customer support and have emailed multiple times but have gotten zero response.

My phone is mounted in an enclosure. When your app is turned on, its upside down. I have to either remove the phone and wiggle it around until it rights itself or go in and out of settings, which will trigger the screen to self correct. This is a new problem that was not there before your recent changes. otherwise, its a great app! UPDATE: as of April 6, 2023 it’s still upside down.

I’ve been super happy with this app. My only complaint is perhaps a misunderstanding about when videos are overwritten. It’s not kept until space runs out. You need to go to the settings to choose how many videos are maintained in temporary before they are deleted. I wish I had known that and that the default was five. Recently had a video the police wanted and it was deleted with no way to retrieve that I can find.

You fixed the record button and that is great, it’s a great app but with your redesign it’s recording upside down. There’s no way to change the setting so I have to take the phone out of the enclosure flip it around so it fixes itself. You need to put the switch back.
