I have had several of the free dash cam apps. Thought I would purchase one. This is great app except I can’t run other audible apps in the background. All other apps I could activate the dash cam and then minimize, open a music app and get it operating, minimize the music app and go back to the dash cam. The dash cam would record and I could listen to music at the same time. Same goes with Maps. I would like to hear directions while the dash app is running. I have the audio record off so I’m a b

I’ve been super happy with this app. My only complaint is perhaps a misunderstanding about when videos are overwritten. It’s not kept until space runs out. You need to go to the settings to choose how many videos are maintained in temporary before they are deleted. I wish I had known that and that the default was five. Recently had a video the police wanted and it was deleted with no way to retrieve that I can find.

You fixed the record button and that is great, it’s a great app but with your redesign it’s recording upside down. There’s no way to change the setting so I have to take the phone out of the enclosure flip it around so it fixes itself. You need to put the switch back.

Updated Review: recent updates have made the app a lot more reliable and fixed bugs. However a lot of functionality has been added to iPhone that is not supported by this app. The latest example I can think of is that the native camera app supports toggling 4K or HD video recording up to 60 fps on iPhone 12 models, but this app does not support that currently. The picture quality is lower than the native camera app.

Best thing since sliced bread. Never quits. Always works. Put a cop in his place by a threat to show the judge five minutes of wasting his time because I wasn’t guilty of the infraction. I have one in the front and one in the back. I would like to see it 4K and be able to record more. I would pay again for the app over again for that.

I like to use this application to record my driving. I go to Mexico often and the speed limits are very low and like speed traps. With the features in this application I have all the details should I be unjustly pulled over. A great application, how about Siri Integration to let me speak commands to start recording. Thank you

When I first got this app, I was really impressed. I have used it on a daily basis on my commute. With the recent Ios update, everytime I close out the app, it doesn’t keep my settings saved. I have to redo all my settings every time I open the app before I can start driving... please fix!

I like this app. However, my iPhone gets very hot after 20 minutes of recording. I wonder if is the phone or the app.

Can you make my music play in the background or can I answer calls while it is recording?

It does what it says it does. I love this application, it's very stable and it records marvelously. I would highly recommend this application to anyone who's looking for a recorder for their vehicle. Download it today.

Love it. I repurposed my old iPhone 5s for this and use it in my truck and on my motorcycle. Image stabilization would be helpful on the bike though. The vibration is noticeable on playback regardless of settings.

For the most part the app works well. I would like to see a letter color option on the app when recording. Letter meaning the time, speed, direction, etc. I personally would prefer the lettering to be red

After the most recent update, will no longer record and keep files, even temporarily. I have resorted to using the camera app.

Good picture quality. Easy to use.

Works fine but it is difficult to determine if the record button has been pressed or not. It sort of “pulses” but it is difficult to determine if it is on or off.

I used to like this app but as others have also mentioned it no longer saves settings. Each time I have to set up metric vs English and the segment lengths etc. it’s a pain and I won’t be using this until they fixe it. I’ve used the customer support and have emailed multiple times but have gotten zero response.

My phone is mounted in an enclosure. When your app is turned on, its upside down. I have to either remove the phone and wiggle it around until it rights itself or go in and out of settings, which will trigger the screen to self correct. This is a new problem that was not there before your recent changes. otherwise, its a great app! UPDATE: as of April 6, 2023 it’s still upside down.
