★★☆☆☆Don’t download unless want to pay
Pay wall after recording the first handful of contractions. Not practical and a bad design that forces expecting parents to just pay to continue tracking at a high stress moment.
★★☆☆☆Have to pay
Seemed fine but after I tracked a couple contractions it would no longer let me do anything unless I signed up for a subscription
★★☆☆☆Makes you pay.
I was looking for something quick easy and free to track my contractions. After 6 contractions it told me I needed to pay to use the app if I wanted to track more.
★★★★★Very useful in high stress situation
I gave birth two years ago. I clearly remember starting to feel the contractions, and I immediately open the app which I had already downloaded. It helped me stay calm throughout the initial contractions. And also helped my husband not feel the pressure of counting the minutes. I wanted to wait until they were the necessary time apart before heading to the hospital. So this app was tremendous help for me once they were a minute apart I headed to the hospital and was right on time to be admitted.
★★☆☆☆User beware. Predatory app.
The app works as expected, it does what it needs to do but when I was about to start tracking my 20th contraction, I was not able to click “start timer” until I paid a fee of $2.99. I was really upset since I couldn’t just get a different app… I would have to add all of my previous contractions in to get an accurate count. This felt very predatory. User BEWARE.
