Drambo

This is an incredibly powerful tool for iOS and macOS. It is a mini DAW (AUv3 host), sequencer, synthesizer, effects processor and more. This is the app that really made me interested in iOS as a music making platform. Although it takes a little bit to really appreciate its full complexities, it is worth learning. It is an essential iOS music making app.

Amazing piece of software here. So deep on it’s own with just the default modules. Once you add in third party apps hosted, and download user custom modules, the depth is unreal. I found the learning curve a bit steep, but worth it. Great job

Crashes frequently after the latest update. It has deleted all my work-in-progress, 4 times already.

Simple to use. Not cluttered. Its like Modular Synths with no complicated cables to patch. Once you understand the basics its real easy and fun to play! Cant wait to see what the developer adds next. We can just about build most synths out there! Studio in my pocket!

If I had to pick one synth to have on a desert island it would be Drambo no contest. I recreated just about every synth patch from other stuff with Drambo and the ability to fiddle with any connection however you want leads to so much creative possibilities. I was initially intimidated but once you get over the first hour it’s hard to really go back to anything else with this level of power, quality and flexibility. D
