e-Sword LT: Bible Study to Go

This is a great Bible study app. It gives you many translations and references which are easy to access. Get this app.

I love this app for finding references and tagging scripture but the Memory feature does not work as described. Ive double tapped on several verses and have never seen the option to add a verse to the memory portion of the app. This function needs redevelopment.

Keep this app with you during Bible reading, Bible study, and when you go to worship! This is the best resource to supplement your learning and teaching. A treasure-trove of resources to help you grow in the knowledge of God and His Word.

So far, the only thing I find negative about the e-sword app is the failure to allow the screen rotation feature on my iPad. I use the iPad a lot for study and for bible study teaching. A keyboard is a must for serious study on an iPad which means the device is orientated at 90 degrees from normal. Most apps do rotate, such as the Blue Letter Bible etc….I actually like e-sword better, but I can only use it on my phone for this reason. I keep hoping for an update that will fix this. The only app I’ve ever actually purchased but the most profound! I’m shocked it doesn’t have millions of 5-star reviews. I used to have to get the huge black Strong’s Concordance to study the words in The Scriptures-but NO MORE! One click on the word shows me exactly what it means. The most amazing tool I have ever used to bring His Words alive with meaning!
