★★★☆☆Great Concept, Questionable Prices
GasBuddy is a really useful idea and I use it often when trying to find cheaper gas nearby. Unfortunately the price accuracy can be hit or miss. It seems like some gas station owners are able to report their own prices lower than what they actually are. I’ve driven to stations expecting a cheaper price only to find it’s higher once I get there, which defeats the purpose of the app.
Also, how does this app still not have a dark mode icon? Most apps have supported this for years and the bright ic

Where is the filter for TopTier stations? All high performance vehicles need to use TopTier. It’s more important than grades and you don’t have a filter. Please add it.

For years I have tried to use this app but always being disappointed. My Suburban takes E85 and I love using it for its lower cost and low environmental impact. I keep coming back to Gas Buddy in the hope it will show me where I can find E85 gas. Each attempt I am met with disappointment as the app is so woefully deficient at locating E85 gas.

The app lists several grades of gasoline, but if you drive a classic car, Motorcycle, boat, or need regular gas for your lawnmower… the app is of no use.
