GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas App Reviews

I like the idea of finding cheap gas prices but just a suggestion; add UNL 88 to the selection of fuel type as most hybrid vehicles run on this type of fuel. Also please add the Trip Calculator feature from the website to the app as that would save travelers time and more convenient to find gas stations along their trip(s).

I love using gas buddy as it saves cents on every purchase I use through gas buddy, as well as finding gas stations near by at the cheapest prices. I’m giving it a 4 because there have been numerous times where gas buddy did not giving me the extra cent off, even when activating the deal and the gas station was indeed correct and I double checked. It often takes 30-45 seconds for the app to open and by then I may have driven by the gas station! Once it finally is open it’s a great app and has saved me a fortune over the years. Indispensable, but man it’s sluggish opening performance leaves a ton to be desired.

Idk if it’s an issue with bots reporting the wrong prices but they are NEVER accurate for what’s listed and i have been duped enough times to actually write this review about it. It always says the prices are recently reviewed by sometimes minutes previous to my visit, which is clearly a lie or as i said before not activity. Also the card has never worked for me so i discontinued the gas card after a couple attempts. I mean at least it functions as an app that has every gas station within a good

Red bar over the listing says save 9 cents. Black price is $3.29. RED price is $3.14. Doesn’t add up. How much am I going to pay per gallon ??

Every time i open app now, pop ups bombard you. You click out of them to get to gas prices. Always asking me to get there free card. Wants to verify my age. Uninstalling after this.

The sort by anything other than distance stopped working after the update. This happened in the past. Stop playing with a working app.

Gas buddy does not differentiate between E-10 and E-15 gasolines or between summer and winter grades of diesel fuel. Also does not have an alcohol-free classification for gasoline. This makes the “regular” classification confusing at best. Feature request: ability to compare cost per mpg between categories (ie, E-10 vs E-85.)

GasBuddy ROCKS! What is lacking? Propane price per gallon search. Propane price per exchange search. Propane price new search. Hydrogen per gallon search. ANY and ALL fuel type search and price reporting. PLEASE!

If I pay for GasBuddy, why are there all kinds of ads everywhere? I can see it with a free version, but not with the paid. Otherwise, a very good app.

Can you please add support inside apple’s car play app?

This app has saved me a lot of money and I use it regularly. Only criticism would be that you can’t locate prices by company.

I’ve always been perfectly fine paying a few dollars to get an ad-free experience in my apps. The fact that I can’t seem to do that with this one is annoying. The app is otherwise great but the ads are very detracting. It’s disappointing.

I have used gas buddy for a long time to find the cheapest local gas stations. Now all of a sudden Exxon, BJs, and Costco stations are not listed. I will be looking for a different app that does include those stations.

I really like the new dark theme on my iPhone 11! although it does get a bit glitchy when trying to navigate through the app. But other than that the app by itself is really good! No problems that I know of or going through with the app.

I’ve never seen so many updates in a single app. Every 3 days to a week another update and nothing seems different.

I went to add data and when I open it my six months of data was not there, just gone 🤬😡👎🏻

So far I’ve saved 19 cents just using the card alone , I’ll have to plan ahead to save more money so far it’s a nice program

Love this app but we need to be able to do more than $75.00 a day. You can’t use this app when traveling 🧳 especially with todays gas prices you go over your limit.

I always check the prices on gas buddy before filling up. They always seem to be up to date and lots of users keep them that way. I like being able to see who has the lowest gas prices.

The concept is fantastic for anyone who field up regularly, however the app and the linked cards don’t always work. These bugs need to be fine tuned!

I love this app. BP is the only gas station i ise and wi take joy in saving on every fill up. Thanks gas buddy. The debit card linked to my account i feel is the best way to get the savings. My wife and i have our own cards.

Please bring back average gas price at the top of the main search results page. Having lowest price is very misleading as I would wager >75% of the time the lowest price is also the oldest price (inaccurate, out of date).

The prices are often wrong. But the ap is good to know where the nearest station is.

I like being able to see prices for various places. Reliable.

Gas Buddy is a very accurate fuel location app, easy to use and you can update it yourself when you see an error.

I love this app! It saves me money, gives directions I can easily follow to the cheapest gas, and is updated in a timely manner. Everyone should use this! I really love the new Gas Buddy card! Way to go, Gas Buddy!

It seems as though half the time I use this app, I’m surprised when I get to the pump because wrong pricing is indicated.

I find I can save 10 to 30 cents a gallon using Gas Buddy.

Staff is very efficient. Prices are normally lower for our community.
