★★★★★Solid, Could Be Amazing
UPDATE: Well, the developer listened and made fast updates to the requests in my original review (below). Thanks very much! This app makes dry firing far less tedious. It's a great value and a great motivator.
Very good! Works well as is, even in a fairly bright room with white wall as background. It gives good visual feedback for splits.
Some recommendations:
-Allow adjustable start time. Currently it's predictable and limits setup for complex starts. ***FIXED!***
-Allow camera to go horizont
★★★★☆Great Alternative to Other Expensive Apps
Really great and fully functional alternative to the other more expensive apps out here.
One suggestion - a spot on the screen to shoot to restart the delay/timer. It's a huge hassle to move over to the iPad and touch the screen each time I want to drill.
★★☆☆☆Works but lacking
Just downloaded thinking there was going to be a little more to this app over other free ones. You have to go to the phone to initiate a new round which is a hassle. Also you have to change your phone settings to keep your screen on the app does not do that for you. If this would have had a free trial that lasted 15 minutes I would have not spent the 10 dollars on the app and would have kept using free Hitlaser instead.
★★★☆☆Cool… But Problem Using a SIRT
This is a nice, basic dryfire tool. However, when using a SIRT’s take-up laser, it counts it as a shot. I’m not surprised but it kind of negates the purpose of using that function of the SIRT while using this app. That is, unless I’m missing some sort of setting that I don’t know about 🤷🏼♂️
★★★★☆Quality tool
This app performs exactly as described. Drop any laser cartridge in the chamber. Put your phone on a tripod and point it at a spot on the wall. Push start and draw at the buzzer. Dry fire isn’t fun, but it’s hugely beneficial. This app makes it more productive.
