Solid, Could Be Amazing

UPDATE: Well, the developer listened and made fast updates to the requests in my original review (below). Thanks very much! This app makes dry firing far less tedious. It's a great value and a great motivator. Very good! Works well as is, even in a fairly bright room with white wall as background. It gives good visual feedback for splits. Some recommendations: -Allow adjustable start time. Currently it's predictable and limits setup for complex starts. ***FIXED!*** -Allow camera to go horizont

Great Alternative to Other Expensive Apps

Really great and fully functional alternative to the other more expensive apps out here. One suggestion - a spot on the screen to shoot to restart the delay/timer. It's a huge hassle to move over to the iPad and touch the screen each time I want to drill.

Cool… But Problem Using a SIRT

This is a nice, basic dryfire tool. However, when using a SIRT’s take-up laser, it counts it as a shot. I’m not surprised but it kind of negates the purpose of using that function of the SIRT while using this app. That is, unless I’m missing some sort of setting that I don’t know about 🤷🏼‍♂️

Quality tool

This app performs exactly as described. Drop any laser cartridge in the chamber. Put your phone on a tripod and point it at a spot on the wall. Push start and draw at the buzzer. Dry fire isn’t fun, but it’s hugely beneficial. This app makes it more productive.

App review

The app works great, but be aware it only records a single shot. If you need to record multiple shots dont buy this app just yet. The developers are working on an upgrade, but it isnt out yet.

Great if you have laser ammo

I bought this a few weeks ago and it works great with laser ammo. The only down side is your room has to be a bit dim for the app to work. I would love to see what future updates will bring!

Gunner

By far best app in the App Store. Great for dry fire and laser training. Now with the update you can do multi shots!

Great app could be better!

I was going to write a bad review but decided to give it another "shot" I set things up just right in my basement and I got it going really well. Set up is key here.

Works great!

Picks up hits at speed which is great for training.

Works great but doesn’t save to photos when I press the button.

Like everything about this app -easy to setup and use. Works great for one round of shots. However it doesn’t save your round when you hit the save to Photos option. Would be great is it did save and automatically initiate the next round.

Great app for tracking your dry fire practice!

Easy to setup and use, and really helpful to where i actually shoot!

Easy tool to practice dry firing anywhere

I found this app very intuitive to use and that the previous reviews have been solved with this new update.

The Easiest way to practice

Very simple and easy to set up. Records shots and time. Offers discounts on the dry fire practicing products. Like it a lot.

3 Negative User Reviews for IDryfire: Shoot House

Works but lacking

Just downloaded thinking there was going to be a little more to this app over other free ones. You have to go to the phone to initiate a new round which is a hassle. Also you have to change your phone settings to keep your screen on the app does not do that for you. If this would have had a free trial that lasted 15 minutes I would have not spent the 10 dollars on the app and would have kept using free Hitlaser instead.

So so...

Seems like this could be a really good app, however everything I point it at says background too bright. Very hard to find something that it would accept.

Still needs improvement

Works ok once you get the light just right. The only way to track your performance is flipping through all of the pics in your photo album.
