My initial investment of time to learn this app has revealed the many facets and flexibility in using the LuckGrib as opposed to other apps in this field. I especially like the ability to modify and then view the many aspects of sailing that are important. The more I use the LuckyGrib the more confidence I have in it’s projections. I dumped Predict Wind for this platform (iOS and MacOS) and never looked back. It is worth your time to read Craig’s entire site and absorb all that is going on in the background to better understand it’s capabilities. His “manual” is as thoughtfully written as his software development. Easy to use with a UI that was clearly made for the Apple ecosystem (i.e. not a PC carryover).
