I opened Monster Train this morning to check how well it ran on my phone, and when I looked up, an hour had gone by. This game is a blast, and it plays surprisingly well on a phone (although I wish the attack and health totals were larger.)
If you got past Ascension 1 on Slay the Spire, play this next.
★★★★★Epic
Epic port epic game, if you like rogue likes monster train is in my op a must play. It has lot of depth and if you get the dlc it has even more, though i do think its also a bit easier with the dlc because you can make monsters who are essentially roided up bath salt gobbling machines, so maybe don’t get it until you play a bit so you can get the full difficulty experience. Its not a huge difference but its something i noticed when going from my pc which has the dlc to my phone which doesn’t.
★★★☆☆Mid
I have issues with the screen being unresponsive on my iPad. Just another unforgiving rogue game. Slay the spire is far superior
★★★★★I Love It!
It took a little time for me to grasp the functions in the game, but once I did, I really started to enjoy it! For me, I need there to be a variety of different outcomes depending on my choices for a game like this to be fun. I love how this game can give you a different experience each time. I was worried that I would buy it and then not like it. I’m so glad I got it! I play A LOT of games and I never write reviews unless a game is special.
