I played the original Myst when it came out. The immersion was amazing. This rendition leaves much to be desired. The graphics are very sub par. I think there must be a bug because I get no sound. It’s basically point and click and mostly a let down. I’d get my money back if I could.

Myst was one of my all-time favorite PC games, so I was excited to play this. However, it’s really finicky on an iphone. I’m sure that’s because it’s just a straight port of the PC version and isn’t optimized for a mobile device, but sadly it’s just too hard to play in any serious manner. I’ll try it on my iPad and see if it’s any better, but if you don’t see this updated, that means it wasn’t any better. On Mechanical island it locked up when viewing the cobra jack-in-the-box. Can’t view anything else or go back to menu, can’t do anything.
