I have a lot of fun with the free version of this app but here I sit at 4pm on a Saturday and I somehow missed todays mini crossword and can only do Sunday’s mini. At 4pm. If I want to do todays, I have to pay. I also wish there was a leaderboard for connections!
★★★★★The challenger
This game is so fun but it also challenged you and just so you know it is totally free but you do need by five but you should totally try it out. It’s so fun. I love this game because challenging and fun.
★★☆☆☆Subscription
I saw you answer to another review. “This app is free to download!”
Then what, a charge for continuing after how long?
I somehow got roped into two different subscriptions, and am inundated with emails to get some other deal.
I think I’m done with apps. I prefer hard copy crossword puzzles, don’t need the other time-suckers.
★★★☆☆No Beta Puzzles?
I really liked this app — I play the puzzles each day and even pay for an annual subscription. So I’m really surprised and disappointed that there’s no access to Beta puzzles like Digits or Strands in the app. If I can play the daily puzzles and the beta games in my browser without a subscription, I don’t see much of a point to keeping this app at this point.
