★★☆☆☆ I’m rather confused?

I’m stuck in the mineshaft at the door blocked by wood planks and I’m trying to tap to get them off because I saw a tutorial to do it but I think it’s glitched because no matter what I do it just moves the hands it doesn’t actually grab the board and I tried exciting out and everything but it won’t change can I please get help? I’d love to proceed

This is one of my absolute favorite games. The story is amazing and so is the art and music. If you want to buy the game i suggest getting it on nintendo, playstation etc (if your able to) the controls are a lot better and the game play is just easier overall.
