Easier and better way to book permits than through the web.

The permit booking system for Yosemite and Inyo is quite good but clunky compared to talking directly to a ranger who knows the area and can give better guidance.
The mapping for campgrounds is awful. Previous versions seemed more accurate and you could visualize the site you were booking. Now it’s hard to even work out which side of the road a site might be.

This app has GREATLY improved! I can now search by map, see the available dates on a calendar, see reviews and pictures all without having to go back to the main page and type it all in again.

I was having issues with the Recreation.org website today and downloaded their app with low hopes. However, I was greeted by a better functioning app and more campsite availability for the location/weekend I was look at. Yay!
