Great app. No brain damage. It is amazingly accurate within a reasonable measuring range. I took a reading of a local landmark which I know is 5409 feet by land survey. The app readings ranged from 5395 to 5420. That's within 0.3% accuracy. Perfect- not always. Very very darn close- you betcha!

Used this app while hiking. Fount it to be very accurate. Helped me track relative altitude from starting at sea level to the peaks. Helped me keep track of the vertical change over the trail to validate the trail guidebook. Great app keep making improvements.
