Travel Altimeter & Altitude App Reviews

Great app. No brain damage. It is amazingly accurate within a reasonable measuring range. I took a reading of a local landmark which I know is 5409 feet by land survey. The app readings ranged from 5395 to 5420. That's within 0.3% accuracy. Perfect- not always. Very very darn close- you betcha!

Used this app while hiking. Fount it to be very accurate. Helped me track relative altitude from starting at sea level to the peaks. Helped me keep track of the vertical change over the trail to validate the trail guidebook. Great app keep making improvements.

Use it for travel in the southwest mountain ranges and it is usually accurate. Easy to use while driving.

Great app while traveling, when altitude is unknown

Not very accurate. I'm about 20' above sea level but app shows 71 to 80 '. A big difference at sea level

Only I can say OK. This app has no creative point. Not so useful to me.

Perfect for off trail hiking where there are no elevation markers or for confirming your elevation on trail.

I wear a watch that more or less tells me the altitude. Happily, this app isn't affected by changes in barometric pressure. I wouldn't be without it.

You can use GPS altitude that's utterly useless in any app or GPS or you can use the mapped elevation datum -far far more accurate. Nice straight forward altitude app.

This app is so easy to use. I use mine due to heart conditions so I don't exceed the elevation. Couldn't be easier to use just click on app and information and gps coordinates are there also.
