Works as expected. Makes using YouTube much less of a hassle , all I really needed. It does seem to turn off sometimes, maybe it’s my ad blocker, but a refresh gets it working again like it’s supposed to.

With the new iOS version 26.1 and probably recent YouTube updates, I had to switch from Vinegar classic to vinegar to have it work as expected. I have an iPhone SE (g3). But seems to be working again to strip out ads.

I love Vinegar! I can watch or listen to YouTube videos, classic movies, video podcasts, etc. without the annoying, loud, disturbing inserted ads; all the ads that make yellow dots on the progress bar are gone! Particularly nice when I’m trying to drift off to sleep listening to a snooze-inducing documentary. The developer is responsive when you have a problem; just email them and they’ll work on it for you :-)
