After the update, I had to scan the QR code every time I opened the app, even if I switched apps or closed it for a second. I’m using it with an iPhone 8 Plus and an iPhone 6 Plus. Apparently the 6 Plus was the problem child because it will only update to iOS 12.x.
I just tried it again after a hiatus and it seems to be working properly again. Fingers crossed.
