This app is truly exceptional, and an excellent tool for beginners through advanced students. The creators understand the nuances of language (I can only speak to Italian), offer almost all the possible uses, and providing a complete conjugation of the verbs is also extremely useful. Well done!

I didn’t realize how important Word Reference was to me until it somehow disappeared from my phone this morning. (I just reinstalled it.) I study Italian on Duolingo and find this app incredibly helpful hoth for finding definitions and for seeing how the word is used with the examples it gives. I can easily switch from English-Italian to Italian-English, and I have many other language dictionaries at my fingertips. It is also my go-to for English, whether I need a definition or a synonym.
