If you need to know basics, I.e.: Where is Syria or Yemen, you can find that but little else. Hey, it was only $1.99!

World map should have a drill-down

The latest release claims to fix the interactive map. The current version does not work and only shows a blank grid.
I wish the maps would remember the part of the world I'm always looking at. But they always recenter around the same wrong country. Let users set a default view per map, or remember what was last viewed.

This is a basic map of the world. Continents, regions, town names, major roads only. No detail. Not a road map. If you need basic information only, this app will suffice.
