I found this app to be easy to use, quick, and informative. I purchased tickets using my US credit card without issue, immediately received confirmation emails, and was able to easily access my tickets from the app home screen. On the day of travel, my app updated as changes to my train’s schedule occurred. I’m very pleased with ÖBB.

Easy to buy simple tickets for immediate use. However, some trips must start within 2 hours of the valid date & time. Adding a discount is difficult, and if you reserve a seat you can’t reserve your partner’s seat where you want it. You could be next to each other or separate. Unless you buy two separate tickets. You do save money over buying tickets at the station, but sometimes the savings aren’t worth the hassle of this app. And, of course, finding schedules, etc., requires you to use the ÖBB
