★★☆☆☆ The audm embedded audio que player does not work all the time

Beautifully built app, truly with the New Yorker design rubber stamp; it is thus all the most unfortunate that the audm embedded audio player (brilliant idea btw) does not work with all the articles in the background (IPhone 7+, iOS 13.3.1) I am sure this is a very fixable glitch and I will be looking forward to it - that would really make me a happy subscriber. Godspeed

Cant have narration audio while phone asleep or app closed

Eye watering white backround makes reading near impossible after 30 minutes - unless I am wearing sunglasses. It is unnacceptable in 2023 to not offer Dark Mode for an app meant to be read.
