★★★☆☆On a vraiment perdu avec cette nouvelle application
I am very disappointed with this app. There is no option to listen to the news or programmes again later in the day, and there is no search function for podcasts. I understand that the BBC wants to restrict access to its channels abroad, but this app is really poorly desig

No playback. So many ”functionalities” except the most important for anyone wishing to use audio.
★★☆☆☆Very frustrating for the audio part
I used to listen to BBC programmes via the BBC Sounds app but it’s not available anymore outside the UK. Though this app has all the audio, the built-in player is not nearly as efficient as it used to be. There is no easy way to get back to the podcast you were listening to and it seems that the app doesn’t even note which episodes have been read.
I hope the team fixes this issue quickly so I can get back to thoroughly enjoying BBC programmes again!

It freezes quite often when starting a podcast
or ending an audio ad.
I understand the reason for the audio ads but shouldn’t the screen inform us, ‘this is an ad’? Like a TV channel does. Sometimes you start to play a podcast and something completely different plays first, an ad. Possibly in a foreign language. Not a good experience.
Also the black or white screen design is harsh especially when using at night - one moment the background is black, the next screen’s background is white, then b
