102.5 The Bone: Real Raw Radio App Reviews

Works good until you realize how horrible it is for your overall battery life and how quickly it drains your battery, only app with this issue. Also with that said the bone bonus is never consistent with asking for your information on your keyword of the day. Sometimes it asks for my phone number sometimes it doesn’t, it almost seems like a scam. It will never let me link my Facebook either.

50% of the time it works fine. A good amount of times the on air personalities are talking and all of a sudden a commercial or three cuts in. Sometimes the app just quits.

I recently moved away from Florida for college in New York and I love this show I’m so glad I can listen to it everyday because if this app it’s amazing

I moved years ago, I really miss the 102.5 talent and I TRY to listen but I can’t stand that if I pause for even a millisecond or take by earbud out and right back in it will restart the feed and I have to listen to the commercials all over again even if I JUST listened to them. It’s too much for me to have to listen to these inserted commercial AS WELL AS having to listen to the regularly broadcast commercials as well!?!? Like the title says, love the all the shows on 102.5… the app offers a lot of content and bare bones features, but at least on iPhone, it’s a pain to use/skip/etc…

Most times it’s behind the date

When they did the major update, it looked “prettier” but took away functions like being able to go to the spot in the recording. And it always goes back to the beginning. I wait now and listen on the YouTube recording.

Press play and have to watch an ad… Ad ends and have to listen to 2 more ads. Pause live audio on purpose or accident by when another app wants to play audio and have to listen to 2 ads again before going back to live audio. The app has been plagued with issues and now this is just asinine.

App constantly refreshes during segments. App adds then radio adds. Lucky if you get a straight 15 minutes of stream before refresh then listen to more adds. Worked great with CarPlay before the new look now not so much.

This is probably the worst app on my phone. It crashes all the time. Any disturbance to the phone like a phone call or other app running with sound and this app completely drops off and I have to restart. And every time I restart the live stream I have to wait through 2 min of ads My love for the Mike Calta Show keeps me coming back. Otherwise, Booooooooooo!

Live play almost always stops playing. The app routinely says it can’t play at random times. The podcast section works well though.

This app is trash. It used to be great but got worse over years and now almost unusable at times. Says slow internet connection but speed test will show 80mbps. Get it together CMG.

It’s infuriating when the app drops, or the stream is interrupted. Just start playing a Wendy’s ad? In the middle of the live show any basic interruption. You guess it another ad. Going from a WiFi to cellular. AD. If it replayed where it left off that would be great and all is well. It doesn’t and the shows on the bone are over it as well. They have openly spoken about how terrible this app is. Sound quality is great so 2 stars

This week 10/23/23 they are failing to update the shows. Morning show gets news for 10/24 but forget the the rest of the show. No DGL and no Roger & JP for 2 days. This is my daily driving entertainment and making me want/need to find a replacement. Please fix the uploading problem. I don’t want to find a replacement.
