23 Positive User Reviews for 1Password: Password Manager
All You Need!
I was hesitant about trying this after seeing the reviews, but I am more than capable of forming my own opinion. So I tried it during the trial provided. I found it to be extremely help and useful to me. I switched from iCloud to this, and after tweaking settings, I saw its value. Try it for yourself, and you’ll see it for yourself.
Great app. Great support.
My wife and I use 1P religiously and are much more confident with security issues now. I’ve needed support a couple of times and their support team has been excellent.
Had for years. Just works!
I’ve been using one password for years and keep all of our info for our whole family in one place across computers and phones.
Awesome
I’ve used 1Password for almost 5 years it feels like. The app has never let me down. Even across multiple devices it has ran great. 10/10 would recommend.
A must have app for web security
Hands down the best password manager app out there. I’ve been using for over 5 years. I don’t get the bad reviews. Personal security software is worth paying for.
Think Porsche engineering meets Yugo design team.
Let’s make a really secure product and then create an App with a user interface that is not appealing. How hard would it be to have a generate password button? Great engineering, fire your user interface design team.
Frustrated by offline sync issues
I receive errors regularly that I have items that have failed to sync, but I cannot edit, merge, or delete the off-line changes. It is extremely aggravating.
Works better and on android
Good app, but sadly doesn't plugin 2FA codes automatically like Android. Hopefully in an update it will be added
Buggy
V8 is really buggy. I miss the days when the builds were rock solid (v4 and v5)
Updated submission after a one star review
I was contacted by support.
They were sincerely concerned with the problems I experienced after the upgrade.
They also fixed the bug within a week (this is FAST! )
I was left with the impression of a team that really cares about its users.
Thank you!
Migrated from LastPass!
After being with LastPass for over a decade, I finally made the switch after the countless hacks. Glad I did, 1Password is more modern, faster, easier to use. I love that the OTP is all in one app and I can even scan QR codes right from the browser, in mobile or desktop. 1Password is simply amazing. I hope that with version 8 (they moved to cloud now) they don’t get hacked like LastPass, although it is already safer since we use a secret key and a master password.
Thank you 1Password for makin
The Best After All
Say what you want about 1Password, it really is the overall best password manager for macOS & iOS. Beyond passwords, the app is capable of managing all types of information seamlessly & securely.
Is it perfect? No. But I have spent the last year trying almost all the other password managers — and now I’m back to 1Password for good. While 1Password works seamlessly, I could never get even one of the others to perform reliably. I’ve learned my lesson. 1Password was the first password manager I ev
Ex-LastPass user
Have used lastpass for a few years and got sick of the breeches and lack of trust. My company deals in security and started using 1Password so I decided to give it a try. The discounts are decent if you look around a bit and appears to have great transparency.
The app is feels much snappier than LastPass and I like the addition of a key separate from a password so that if they were ever breeched, then two things would be needed to break into any stolen databases. They also support 2fa so tha
Crashes on my iPad Mini 6
I’m running iPadOS 16.3 and 1Password 8 crashes as soon as I attempt to open it. I tried deleting the app and reloading it but that did not resolve the issue.
Usually after a while I can get back in.
From what I have tested so far it appears the problem may be caused by going to the Watchtower section.
Fave ID not working
Fave ID is not working when opening the app on a iPhone 13. Hasn’t been working for a while. The phone works fine for all other apps and opening the phone so I know it’s the app. I have downgraded to 1Password 7 which works fine. Never had a a major issue with 1Password before and I’ve had an account for many years. It’s really a pain as I have to enter my master password every time. Please get this fixed.
Works great
I made the switch from another password manager. This is a big improvement works great so far.
Essential tool
Part of my everyday life. Don’t know what my family would do without this password. Every release it gets better and better. Will probably subscribe to 1Password for the rest of my life.
Great app
I liked version 7, but version 8 manages to be even better.
App is great
Long-time user of 1Password. This latest version works great and looks great. Don’t know what all the fuss is about in these negative reviews.
1Password is the best
Absolutely fantastic password manager. Very easy to use and definitely worth the money. I haven’t had to use the “Forgot my password” link on a website in a very long time. Great app!

Kinda annoying because of iCloud and google stored passwords
Doesn’t really make
Me feel more secure
As well I’m trying to change my password for 1Password right now as my data
Was compromised and I literally can’t on the app I tried logging out and
Doing the wrong password so it would prompt me
To reset that don’t work either
Dysfunctional iOS /ipad
Most of the time it just doesn't work in safari anymore. Tap the extension icon and nothing. Open the app copy and paste usually works but sometime the main app needs a restart for that to work on iPad Pro. It worked great for years but it's gotten kind of infuriating on the mobile side. Feels like it's been months, but not been counting. Still does great on Mac.
Safari extension breaks all the time
Fine as a password manager, but since 1password 8 and the focus on enterprise customers, the safari extension on all platforms breaks for me all the time. The iOS and iPadOS extensions have been broken for weeks now, and this seems to happen with just about every other OS update.
