I play a lot of TD style games, I like 2112TD because it’s much more challenging than many others, you really do have to pay attention to which towers you place in certain places or they will fail you. Leveling up your base is a must, so choose carefully.

I was so suspicious of this game when I started but I’m glad I stuck with it. This game has a level of engagement and depth that is unusual for a tower defense game. Great job by the developers.

This game is so much fun. It’s also very simple to play. It’s hard to find a game that’s simple yet enjoyable and easy to play. Good graphics good missions

Great game, no micro transactions,hours of fun. I’ve played it through several times challenging myself to use different combos of weapons. Hopefully there’s follow up game coming soon.

Yep, an immersive, challenging, and incredible tower defense game that doesn’t require $30 in upgrades. It’s $2!! Thank you developers, I miss the days of simply buying an app.

I appreciate that normal play is easy enough to win…and to see what works, but the higher levels are not winable without strategies to correctly deploy and level up. Thanks!

If you’ve played BTD6 to death and are looking for a Tower Defense game that shows the strengths of the genre, take a look at this one. Reasonable game play, a simple but interesting tech tree, and good enemies. A lot of newer TDs try to be other things too — RPGS, simulations, action, etc— and generally are the worse for it. This one doesn’t try to do too much, and it’s good at keeping you engaged without making you have to work harder than a TD ought to.

If you like tower defense it’s worth it. Don’t let the “it’s too hard” reviews concern you. Very enjoyable

Just finished the normal campaign and had a blast! I'm really looking forward to the extended missions and the hard and nightmare difficulty. Big thanks to the devs, know you put a lot of love and care into this game. Also, thanks for no pay-to-win mechanics and the great ipados support.

Really enjoy the needed strategic play

This is my favorite tower defense game for iPad so far. I enjoy the mix of turrets, variety of enemies, and abilities unlocked by progression. The best part of the game is the lack of micro transactions, allowing the gameplay to be enjoyable and well balanced from start to finish.

It’s fun to see how many ways you can beat the game. NO PAY UPGRADES after original 1.99 download.

I’ve loved tower games since their inception. What stands out with this game is there are no in-app purchases. To work your way through and level up all your weapons and skills will allow you to take on the harder levels. Timing and good choices are a must to prevail. Well done.

I’ve beaten the first 3 maps on hard and the 4th on normal so far! Enjoying this game very much :)

Wish there were more tower defense games like this. No in game purchases necessary. Challenging but easy to get into. Lots of options for leveling up.

Great game and loads of fun. Pretty simple but still challenging at times, and super reminiscent of old rts games like SC or C&C.

Great game. Fun story. Big tech tree and varied enemies. As an experienced tower defense player I’m having to play on the lowest difficulty to develop my tech. Excited for the longevity, $2 well spent

The difficulty factor is a bit too high. In my opinion. I don't believe that a game with an “easy” setting should present a real challenge to experts of the genre. Also, I believe you should be given an option to reset your research points.

The developers found the perfect balance for this game. Some levels seem almost impossible, but If you keep tweaking your strategy, you will find the perfect combination of towers and upgrades. I’ve probably got 20 hours in this game.

Tough game, quite a challenge. But good.

GL on mission 6 clearly this dev never played TD games if this is how you go about a level designed around flying mobs yet spam nothing but ground mobs and no money to compensate for it.
