I really like this app. The best police scanner in the App Store. I recommend this app to all.

The free version is no different than the paid version. Both have an hour delay from when the original calls go out. Not worth the paying fot

I found this to be the best police scanner available. However, it annoys me terribly that 10 seconds, or maybe less, after opening the app, a video commercial starts playing on top of the transmissions, and I have to “X” out of it in order to get it to stop. It becomes just noise.

Like being able to stay informed

Great app and love that it’s free. The only thing is the ads cover the whole phone screen and you have to look all over to find out where the x is to close the ad. Makes me miss out on important info sometimes. Like today someone was having chest pain near my friend and I was hoping it wasn’t them. Had to PM her to find out if it was her or not.

very useful if you live in the city with lots of crime

I live near downtown and hear a lot of police helicopters overhead and sirens. I mostly listen to the downtown/midtown police dispatch feed. I can open up this app, and will get, in real time, information as to what is going on as it is said over the live police scanner. I feel safer and more informed from having this app. And I tell everyone I know to listen too. Great job!!

Nice to stay connected and yet be far away

Ads every 30 seconds

We enjoy keeping up on local happenings. It’s good to be informed. 🤔

There are way too many ads, and sometimes when the ads pop up connection and that becomes annoying

For some reason they have taken away most all of the police broadcasts. However we do still have all the fire ones.

Love it but should have never updated as the ad that comes up with game is annoying.

It’s good for fire and Ems in my area but no city, county or state police calls Kind of one sided, plenty of fire but no police

It’s good to know what’s happening when there are 6 police cats parked in front of your house

This is a great app. I only gave it 4 stars because it could really use more channels for police.

I love this app. I listen to it all the time and it is the only app I’ve put on my l-phone.

This past week l somehow lost the app. I was lost without it. So l finally got into the app store and got it back. Enjoy Listing to the calls. Have bonded with our local Volunteer Fire Departments. Our men are very dedicated to serving our communities. They deserve all the respect and help that we give them. God bless and protect them.

I’ve had this app for almost 12 years or so. And it wasn’t always so plagued with ads, but every time you switch channels, and not to mention about every 15 seconds, it’s more of those ads that take up the whole screen and require interaction before they’ll go away

I have been using this app for years and years and i always loved it! This app is everything you could ever want in a radio app, However it has got a lot of ads over the years and can get pretty annoying, I recommend just spending the 5 bucks on the “full version” so you don’t have ads, because this app is great!

I like this app. It brings in local first responder radio calls. Since I am very new at using wondering if there is a way for the app to scan multiple first responder channels?

Great app. When on the road there is no other place to stay informed. Space when I’m out of state, I can monitor everything in my hometown and that area that I lived in just a great app.

It’s nice to be able to pull out my phone and listen in whenever I want but there’s some things I don’t like. I don’t like how you need to choose from a list instead of being able to type in a frequency. There’s not much that can be done about that though since a cellphone isn’t a radio. Physical units are still #1.

There’s a few to many ads especially when your going in and out of the app, and the voice is a little hard to hear but otherwise it’s a great app!

Ads stay stuck and keep opening App Store. Need to restart app every time. So that’s every 10 seconds or so an add pops up and stays stuck playing.

This was my go-to app to find out why I’m hearing police sirens, or to just monitor my general location. Now the ads are so frequent and lengthy. Who wants to wait through a 30-60 second ad, click one button when finally in the app, then another ad! Looking for a better app now.

I wanted to pay to remove the extremely annoying adds in this app. You have to pay a weekly/ monthly subscription fee to do so! I HATE subscription based apps with a passion. Just have an option to pay ONCE to remove adds please!

You can even hear the event due to the ads taking over.

I used to love the app, but lately they are using ads that are hard to get rid of. I sometimes have to quit the app because I can’t get out of the ad loop. Yes I know I can pay to get rid of ads. But now I can NOT recommend it until they change the ad types.

Any time the app comes out of the background, a FULL SCREEN AD plays. Some of them are at least 30 seconds, and some have no method of skipping the ad for its entire duration. I live 4 miles from state lines, so I’m frequently switching between feeds to monitor calls in each state, sometimes involving both agencies which do not use a common ops channel.
