I have used this app for many years. I have used others, but they have all gone by the wayside. This one is good.

Good application. I use it to listen to events in my small community. I have used the bulky scanners and having an app on my phone is an improvement.

I was a bit disappointed as it appeared my subscription was lost in the money wind; however I emailed the developer and he set the record straight! And I found the police channel for my country which I thought was lost as well! Thank You developers of 5-0 Pro!

Works well and has a lot of features.

A lot of static on channel that I listen to in Cumberland County New Jersey. Been using scanners for over 50 years with better results. Hope this is helpful as it seems your pick up station is located too far from the dispatcher.

Great little app. Can now hear most of the police, fire and ambulance from the counties around me.

This is the first app I ever bought, many years ago now. It’s not only interesting but useful as we live in a rural area and find out about road conditions before heading out to town. It’s a bit quirky and unstable at times but that may be due to Verizon service in our area is intolerable.

Works great for me to listen to local police dispatch in Panama City, Florida. Reminds me of a classic police scanner radio I owned in the 90s. Loved it so much I slept down the five dollars to get rid of the ads!

A Couple of years ago we had a devastating wildfire near our cabin. The area was evacuated but I had this app to keep me informed. I knew where the fire threatened, what roads were closed and were the air drops were. To this day, I’m thankful to have the peace of mind knowing our property was spared and the amazing job all of the responders did.

I actually listen to the national weather service on this app, not on the NOAA app

Love this app. Radio traffic is 30 - 60 sec delayed but great app for scanner heads. I like monitoring my FD when I’m out of town working

I love this app. The only thing I would love to see is the ability to use it with CarPlay. Other scanner apps have this feature and operate pretty much the same way.

Please add more NY state frequencies As well as ALBANY area airports and nautical Frequencies Otherwise it works pretty well

Just buy the non-ad version. Buy it once and you’re done, it’s not a monthly subscription.

This app would be so much better if the channels didn’t overlap. You’ll be listening to a call, or pursuit, or something, then the other channel will start broadcasting. Very frustrating and annoying.

I work in armed security and use this app often to track activity local to my patrol sites that keep us safe and prepared for just in case circumstances. Invaluable technology asset.

I think this is a great app would like for them to add more channels used this app for 6 years now originally purchased it for work

In my opinion this is the BEST SCANNER APP out there!!!! Just about every feed you could ever listen too, unless your county or city, is an encrypted radio system. Then there is no radio scanner out there that will pick up an encrypted radio system. Try it out for yourself and see if 5-0 Scanner Pro is the Scanner App for you? I bet it will be.

My wife and I listen to this whenever driving. When we took a 4300 mile trip, we listened for hours and loved it. My daughters also listen and we text each other with what we call Juicy Scanner

It’s definitely worth the one time payment you pay for the app, just so you don’t have to deal with the ads they are the worst

I have tried other police scanner apps in the past. I have used this one for years. Now I do have a Uniden police scanner. I will still use this when I'm outside working around the house. Just a reminder these scanner feeds are provided by volunteers. So when a feed goes off line it’s not the app’s fault. It’s a provider who is having equipment issues

I am very satisfied with the scanner. No matter where I go if I hear a siren I can turn on the scanner and catch the action. When severe storms are passing through you can hear where the worst storms are on the repeaters.Once I heard the FBI talking to the local sheriffs department telling them that a shooting was going down tonight and to be there to prevent it from happening. You never know what you’re going to hear next Once I heard three sirens go by and a man had hung himself in his dee

I have been using this scanner app for 10 years now and I never get tired of it.

I love this app and listen almost all the time, the only problem I have is the local feed where I live is down a lot so I listen to surrounding areas feed more but it works for me 😊

You better have ears that can hear low volume chatter to enjoy this app. Crazy low volume. Actual radio is much louder . Please turn it up!

Easy to use. Many departments

This app is great, except it needs more scanner options, meaning more scanners.

Using Chat is Useless, because many are asking questions, however, very few people are replying back. Some who do reply are posting irrelevant comments to a legitimate question. I like using the app, and I find the external chat link is useless and should be disabled or show an indication to other listeners that a question has been asked for the specific active channel.

I have only had the scanner for a few days but it works very well, I’m happy with it. Thanks

I really would like to see not only more law Enforcement channels per state, especially TX, but more mid-sized towns like Kyle, Tx, San Marcos, Tx as well as Hays county Sheriff’s Dept. & Texas DPS areas. They are extremely helpful in staying informed on nearby problems, traffic issues going on in real time and sometimes for just plain entertainment. If there is a clear view LEO’s want to show that are not hidden this would be a great addition to the beginning.
