6abc Philadelphia App Reviews

The 6ABC app seems to work fine except for one thing, in the weather tab, the location button and the arrow to change location is the top center of the screen on the iPad, but it’s behind the menu bar, I can’t get to it. Either the menu bar ( the one that says Home, Weather, News, etc) should be moved to the side or the location button, or both to opposite corners. Nothing should be behind the menu bar.

I use an antenna for local tv and for some reason abc doesn’t come in. So I download the app. Why why WHY can’t there be a Cast button so I can send what’s on the app to my TV????

It’s the only way I can watch 6 sec since Xfinity removed it from our channels. So that’s good. The commercials are the same every break and play on a loop, sometimes 3 times. On occasion they play right thru the weather or sports. Still better than nothing.

Hi there. For the second time in a few months, notifications from the app have been silent. I can see them, but they come in silently without noise or vibration. This is not an issue with my phone being on silent or vibrate because my dads phone is doing it silently as well. Can you change it?

Every time I click a notification I’m interested in the app opens to another story.

For the most part this was a decent app years ago. Unfortunately with it owned by Disney there is a strong left wing slant these days and much of their reporting is skimmed off general news sites on the web. No real reporting, just prewritten scripts.

Until the audio continues when the app is closed…. What else is still running. Deleting immediately

I don’t want to watch the “news”. Where are all the shows?

I like your format better than other news apps but the wrong image thing and oftentimes the writing is surprisingly amateurish.

I liked the app before you changed it. Feel there was more to read.
