Not a bad app, but not great either
This app isn't bad, but it's not great. My biggest issue with it is the lack of tooltips. Otherwise it's not bad.
Wonderful but
When I try to do an online match, I can never find anybody to play with. I wonder if this is just because there’s a small user base or if it’s a bug.
Need expansions pls
App is decent and game is amazing, but definitely need the expansions.
Good game, needs more players
Very fun game, interface on the app works well. Wish there were more people playing the game, most of the time I wait for a quick match to no avail. Playing against the CPU is also fun though.
Fun game just needs asynchronous play
My fiancée and I love the game, however, the app would be much better if we could take our turn and come back later to make the next turn as we are busy during the day. Please add this!

Excellent app/game
This app is designed very well, everything is so smooth and well laid out. It plays fast too. The tutorial is good, I am new to the game and it was sufficient to learn the basics. I still haven’t won yet, but it plays fast so I always want to try again. It’s different each time too. It’s also good on battery.
Thank you for offering this for a fair price with no ads or IAP. Developers like this are rare, and it’s appreciated. I’ll be playing this a lot!
Good mobile adaptation
The app captures the game very well and is mostly functional. Online play can get glitchy and I wish the AI were a little smarter, as a decent player can beat it nearly 100% of the time
Live game
I almost didn’t buy this cause of the review that said server wasn’t supported and no live games. I have not found that to be the case. I’ve played a few games everyday. Sometimes I get no match or it takes a few minutes, but I think that’s likely related to how many people are online. Anyway, just wanted to put my experience so no one is dissuaded as I almost was and there are more people online.
Favorite board game IRL
Love the board game! I really hope the expansions come out for the app.
The main reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because there aren’t difficulty options for the AI. Can’t wait for the future updates!
Fantastic app for such a great game - would love to see expansions!
The game interface is intuitive, and I’ve been playing this game a lot and seeing my strategy improving over time. I would love to see the pantheon expansion added, and would happily pay a little extra in order to play.
Needs the expansions
The digital game suffers from the same flaw of the physical version without the expansions: who gets what card is a foregone conclusion without more options to mitigate it. Happy to pay for the expansions, but don't want to play more until they come.
Can’t connect to my account
I love this game but it seems like the server is always down. Every other day I can’t access my friends list or see any of my achievements. It’s really frustrating.
No AI Difficulty Levels, Online never works
If you love dropped games and matchmaking that never completes, you’ll love this app.

AI is broken
I own the physical board game. I have probably played it 100 times with multiple other people and have quite a bit of experience with the game. And yet after downloading the game and playing the AI I lost my first 7 games and won the 8th game by only 2 points.
It makes me regret buying the game when the AI is clearly unbalanced. I don’t mind there being an option for varying levels of AI, but if you are Hopi got play against the AI, be prepared for the computer to have a knack for getting just
DO NOT UPGRADE to the latest release
As of now, the developers have BROKEN the game that had been working SO WELL. I cannot connect my account at all - an account that has played over 500 1-1 matches and was at 1425+ ELO score. Cannot get a 1-1 match, cannot see friends list - PLEASE fix this!
Frustrating
The AI is impossible to beat. There is no way to change the difficulty level. No undo button either. I loved the card game. I hate the app.
Scoring system broken
Couple notes I’ve noticed
There isn’t any penalty for going into the negative with coins
Science bonus tokens don’t count for overall points ( I had the agriculture token which gives a bonus 3 points for every science token I have which should have given me a 15 point bonus) THIS WAS NOT PART OF MY FINAL SCORE
I’m sure there is more but that’s what I’ve caught
